Ingredients
Scale
Salad Mixture
- 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie)
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup croutons
Wraps
- 4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine ingredients. In a large bowl, use tongs to mix chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.
- Season to taste. Add kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper according to your preference. You can also add more Caesar dressing if you like a creamier texture.
- Warm the tortillas. Heat the flour tortillas either by warming them in a skillet for 15 to 30 seconds on each side until pliable, or microwave them wrapped in a damp paper towel for about 20 seconds.
- Assemble the wraps. Lay each warmed tortilla flat on a clean surface, then evenly divide the salad mixture among the four tortillas.
- Roll the wraps. Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly from one end to the other to form a secure wrap.
- Serve or store. Serve the wraps immediately for best taste and texture, or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a later meal.
Notes
- Use any cooked chicken you prefer: grilled, rotisserie, or even leftover baked chicken works well.
- For a healthier option, use low-fat Caesar dressing or whole wheat tortillas.
- To keep the tortillas from becoming soggy, serve the wraps immediately after assembling.
- You can add extra veggies like sliced tomatoes or cucumbers for more crunch and freshness.
- To make it gluten-free, substitute the flour tortillas with gluten-free wraps and ensure croutons are gluten-free.
