  • Author: Matteo
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These Chicken Caesar Wraps are a quick and delicious meal perfect for lunch or a light dinner. Combining tender cooked chicken with crisp romaine lettuce, creamy Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan, and crunchy croutons, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla, they provide a satisfying, flavorful, and easy-to-make dish ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Salad Mixture

  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie)
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup croutons

Wraps

  • 4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients. In a large bowl, use tongs to mix chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons until the ingredients are thoroughly blended.
  2. Season to taste. Add kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper according to your preference. You can also add more Caesar dressing if you like a creamier texture.
  3. Warm the tortillas. Heat the flour tortillas either by warming them in a skillet for 15 to 30 seconds on each side until pliable, or microwave them wrapped in a damp paper towel for about 20 seconds.
  4. Assemble the wraps. Lay each warmed tortilla flat on a clean surface, then evenly divide the salad mixture among the four tortillas.
  5. Roll the wraps. Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly from one end to the other to form a secure wrap.
  6. Serve or store. Serve the wraps immediately for best taste and texture, or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a later meal.

Notes

  • Use any cooked chicken you prefer: grilled, rotisserie, or even leftover baked chicken works well.
  • For a healthier option, use low-fat Caesar dressing or whole wheat tortillas.
  • To keep the tortillas from becoming soggy, serve the wraps immediately after assembling.
  • You can add extra veggies like sliced tomatoes or cucumbers for more crunch and freshness.
  • To make it gluten-free, substitute the flour tortillas with gluten-free wraps and ensure croutons are gluten-free.
