Instructions

- Add Vanilla and Dry Ingredients: Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Gradually incorporate 2 cups all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt, mixing gently until a soft dough forms without overmixing.
- Chill Dough: Shape the dough into a log, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up, making it easier to slice.
- Slice and Arrange: Slice the chilled dough log into ½-inch thick discs and place them evenly spaced on a parchment-lined baking tray.
