Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners to create individual portions of the bark.
  2. Melt Base Chocolate: Place the 11 ounces of white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 60 to 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Form Base Layer: Pour about 1 1/2 tablespoons of melted white chocolate into each lined muffin cup. Gently tap the pan on the counter to spread the chocolate evenly, then refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the chocolate to set firmly.
  4. Prepare Candy Decorations: While the chocolate sets, carefully break each red M&M candy in half using your hands or a knife.
  5. Melt Decoration Chocolate: Microwave the remaining 1/4 cup white chocolate chips until melted and smooth, stirring as needed.
  6. Assemble Decoration: Once the base is set, gently remove each piece of bark from the paper liner and place it on a flat surface. Using a toothpick, dab a small amount of melted white chocolate onto the broken end of each M&M half, then press it onto the bark to form a decorative pattern.
