Ingredients
Scale
Fruits
- 2 1/2 lb fresh strawberries (tops removed)
Liquids
- 4 cups cold water
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 can (14.5 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Other
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or residue, then remove the green tops. Slice the strawberries in half to make blending easier and more efficient.
- Blend the ingredients. Add the sliced strawberries, cold water, whole milk, and sweetened condensed milk into a blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and evenly combined.
- Strain for smoothness. For a smoother texture, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or strainer into a pitcher, removing any seeds or pulp.
- Serve chilled. Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the strained strawberry agua fresca over the ice. Garnish each glass with reserved strawberry halves for an attractive presentation and added flavor.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sweetened condensed milk based on personal preference.
- To make it dairy-free, substitute whole milk with almond milk or coconut milk and use a dairy-free condensed milk alternative.
- Serve immediately for the freshest flavor or refrigerate for up to 24 hours; stir well before serving.
- Straining is optional but recommended for a smoother drink without seeds or pulp.
